FAQ's
What are the differences between self adhesive and traditional wallpaper materials?
There are actually several differences apart from the obvious one that is application method. Please see this comparison of main differences between both of these wallpaper materials here.
Can I order a sample?
At each listing you can find a dropdown menu to select size and material. There you can find a 48.3 cm x 48.3 cm (19” x 19”) sample of self adhesive material and a 63.5 cm x 50.8 cm (25” x 20”) sample of the traditional as well as commercial grade material.
Will colors differ between separate wallpaper/wall mural orders?
Yes, as every product is made to order, shades may vary between different material batches, including wallpaper samples and full orders. To avoid this, we recommend ordering full amount required for each wallpaper project at once. Though please keep in mind we always do our best to match the colors between orders as closely as possible.
Where do you ship to?
We ship worldwide. USA, Canada, Australia, Europe - you name it! As our wallpapers are shipped with a tracking number, please keep in mind you will need to sign for the parcel upon delivery. Also, please keep in mind that countries such as Canada, Australia and UK are subject to import taxes upon delivery of the goods.
How do I order custom colors?
If the design is customisable, there is going to be a dropdown menu at the listing to pick colors. Select the 'custom color' option and a dropdown menu will pop up for you to enter the color the Pattern as well as the Background. Please keep in mind that if the custom colors will not be entered, we will not be able to send the order to production until we hear back with the confirmation of the required colors.
Can I order wallpaper in gold or any other metallic or shiny colors?
Unfortunately at the moment we don’t offer any metallic or shiny colors. There is, however, an option of faux gold, that resembles gold and gives a very similar feel, like this product.
What surfaces will the self adhesive wallpaper stick to?
Smooth and flat surfaces should do just fine. For example, smoothly painted walls, glass, mirrors, cabinet doors without texture, sliding wardrobe doors. We don't recommend to install wallpaper on textured walls, however you can always order a sample first to see how it works on your desired wall surface.
Is the wallpaper suitable for bathrooms?
It is! However we advise to use it for decorative purposes and avoid areas where it would be in direct contact with water (shower, bath, backsplash area). Both materials are gently cleanable with a damp cloth or soft sponge.
Can I reuse the self adhesive wallpaper?
We don’t advertise our self adhesive wallpaper being reusable. Please keep in mind that in order to remove the wallpaper successfully from the wall, it depends on lot more than the wallpaper itself. Important factors for successful wallpaper removal is how the wall has been prepped before as well as the quality of the primer used on the wall before painting, as well as before wallpaper installation. Other factors such as the quality and composition of the paint and primer as well as climate conditions of the room are all very important for successful installation as well as removal of the wallpaper. Furthermore, all adhesives, including the one on our self adhesive wallpaper, become somewhat permanent at some point in time. This happens due to many factors including the climate as well as air moisture or dryness of the room, therefore a successful removal also depends on how long the wallpaper has been on your walls.
However in some cases it might be possible to completely and successfully remove the wallpaper. To do this, you would have to keep the backing paper and be extra careful when removing the self adhesive wallpaper, as you can’t let it stick to it self you have to make sure the wallpaper has stuck to the backing paper perfectly so the adhesive doesn’t dry out in the period while the wallpaper is being transported to it’s new home.
Is it easy to remove your wallpaper?
Both wallpaper materials we offer - self adhesive wallpaper as well as traditional wallpaper material, can be removed from the walls in full panels. This is a great advantage compared with the regular old-school wallpapers which usually tear in many little pieces when removed. Though, to successfully remove our wallpaper from your walls without damaging the paint, please keep in mind that it depends on so much more than the wallpaper itself.
